Live entertainment has always been a terrific part of the Ruidoso “experience”. From the symphony to a true “honky tonk” sound, Ruidoso has many places where you can enjoy a live performance.

Ongoing Live Entertainment Options include:

Flying J Wranglers: Come enjoy a fun-filled evening that includes a western village, a gunfight on Main Street, pony rides for the little ones, a pistol shoot, gift shops, gold panning, and a cowboy meal and stage show that will make you want to come back again and again! The Flying J Ranch is open six nights a week from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and Saturdays in September through mid-October. They are closed on Sundays. Toll Free: 888-458-3595 or 575-336-4330.

Mountain Annies: Enjoy a true dinner theater experience at Mountain Annies located in beautiful downtown Ruidoso at 2710 Sudderth Drive. Reservations are required, and can be made by calling 257-7982. The show features George Staerkel and Barbara Barleen-Staerkel. George is a master musician performing live on 33 instruments and covering a 5 octave vocal range. Barbara is an accomplished stringsmith and vocalist, and is a fourth generation musician of the Barleen Family. Together they present an exciting and versatile performance featuring a wide variety of musical styles. Dinner is served at 7 PM. Showtime is at 8 PM. Show are every Thursday, Friday and Saturday night from Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend.

Ruidoso Downs Race Track - Summer Concert Series: Each Summer, Ruidoso Downs Race Track presents stars and up and coming artists in the very popular Summer Concert Series. Concerts begin at 8 PM. Tickets can be reserved by calling 575-378-4140. This year’s concerts include:

Spencer Theater for the Performing Arts: One of the finest attractions in the Ruidoso area is the spectacular Spencer Theater for the Performing Arts. This state-of-the-art hall features world class performers in a breathtaking setting. Set high on a mesa just outside of Ruidoso, the Spencer Theater hosts Broadway shows, dance troupes, and music from around the world. 575-336-4800.

The Quarters: Featuring live Rock and Roll and Blues bands, the Quarters is one of Ruidoso’s favorite night spots. Located at 2535 Sudderth Drive in the heart of Midtown Ruidoso. 257-9535

Win, Place & Show: Known affectionately as “WPS”, the Win, Place & Show is a true Ruidoso icon. This is the only place in town where you can find live music every night! Dust off your dancing boots, and join in the fun at WPS. 2516 Sudderth Drive 257-9982
