Radio:
KBIM in Roswell, NM is privately
owned and features both AM and FM radio stations. KBIM
AM 910
has news and is talk intensive. Talk hosts include Bob Dornan, Rush Limbaugh, Ken Hamblin, Rusty Humphries, Michael
Savage, Kim Komando and various programs from Talk Radio
Network, ABC Radio and Premiere Radio Networks. Daily local
talk/issues program from 8:30 am-9:00 am Monday thru Friday.
KBIM FM 94.9 has Adult contemporary
programming and features a strong emphasis on area and local
news plus Dallas Cowboys games and features. Antenna
location between Roswell and Hobbs at 1839 feet provides
local quality signal to Roswell, Artesia, Carlsbad, Hobbs,
Lovington and Ruidoso.

KBUY AM 1360 is a "New" Oldies radio station
which spans the modern rock era from 1957 to 1992, with over
2,300 songs that represent the best of the ages. Elvis
Presley, The Beatles, Three Dog Night, Elton John, The Bee
Gees, The Eagles, etc. KBUY also features local, CNN News,
weather and information about events going on in the
surrounding area.
KWES FM 93.5 plays the latest Country
music and favorites from the last ten years. KWES FM reaches
Ruidoso, Capitan, Carrizozo, Hondo and Lincoln in Lincoln
County and Cloudcroft, Mescalero and Tularosa in Otero
County.

MTD Radio:
MTD Radio serves southeast New Mexico and
west Texas with five stations and a variety of news and
music formats. The company provides news, weather, sports,
entertainment and tourism information to the public from
studios in Ruidoso, Lovington and Hobbs.
In Ruidoso, KRUI AM 1490 offers local news and
national syndicated programming including Rush Limbaugh,
Paul Harvey News, Dr. Laura, Michael Reagan, Jim Bohannan,
ESPN, NFL and Texas Rangers Baseball. KRUI is known as
“News, Talk, Tourism” in the community offering local sports
and ski condition updates along with hourly weather updates.
KIDX FM 101.5 is Ruidoso’s “Classic Rock” station and
remains music-driven 24 hours a day. Known as “The Kid” to
its listeners of rock favorites, the station has a live
morning show and features 50 minutes of music every hour.
KNMB FM 96.7 is Ruidoso’s “Classic Country” station
featuring music from the early country music era along with
current chart hits. Known as “The Bear” to its listeners of
classic hits, the station features at least 50 minutes of
music every hour.
KWMW FM 105.1 is southeast New Mexico’s most powerful
radio station, broadcasting 100,000 watts from a tower
located on Maljamar’s caprocks. The station can be picked up
for a four to five hour period beginning in west Texas and
spreading to Ruidoso. Many visitors to Lincoln County pick
up the station during their drive to the mountains.
KTUM FM 107.1 is a 100,000 watt classic rock station
that serves the same area as KWMW-FM. The station was only
recently put on the air and will be formatted to serve Lea
and Eddy County in New Mexico.

Television:
KOB
TV was established in 1948 in Albuquerque, NM. KOBR TV is
the satellite station located in Roswell, NM.
KOB-TV’s weather reporting staff, offer
viewers the most accurate and current weather forecasts.
Eyewitness News 4 has Chopper 4, the station’s
state-of-the-art helicopter, and NewsStar, a remote
satellite truck, which enable KOB-TV to bring maximum news
coverage from virtually any location. In addition, state and
regional news is covered by KOB’s satellite stations: KOBF-TV
in Farmington, KOBR-TV in Roswell, and KOBG-TV in
Silver City.
Along with news programming, KOB-TV carries various
syndicated programs and is an NBC affiliate.
Comprehensively, KOB-TV provides viewers continuous
information with 24 hours of programming.
