Nov. 13, 14, & 15 – Christmas Jubilee at the Ruidoso Convention Center. Join us for Ruidoso’s Favorite Shopping Experience. The Annual Christmas Jubilee offers something for everyone. Bring the kids and meet Santa. Shop for unique gifts and get a head start on Christmas. NOTE: This event has been CANCELLED.
Nov. TBD – Party on the Mountain at Ski Apache. Gear up for this free family event featuring food, entertainment, and raffles as Ski Apache kicks off the 2019-2020 ski season. For more information, call 575-464-3600.
Nov. 26 – Ski Apache Opening Day (Weather Permitting)
Nov. 26 – Ruidoso Winter Park Opening Day (Weather Permitting) The Annual Opening for Ruidoso’s “Premier Snow Play Area”! You will be whisked to the top of the hill on moving conveyors. There’s no need to walk uphill, which means MORE tubing and MORE FUN. Reservations are required. CLICK HERE to make a reservation.
Nov. 26 – Grindstone Stables Opening Day! Join us for a horse-drawn sleigh ride through historic Upper Canyon! With jingle bells ringing and the horses breath fogging in the air, everyone is sure to enjoy the crisp winter evenings while riding through the oldest part of Ruidoso. Check the website for nights the Sleigh Rides will be offered!
Dec. TBD – Christmas in the Park at Schoolhouse Park
Join the Village of Ruidoso in their annual lighting of the Yule Log. Free. Santa and cookies will be there, of course. 6 pm.
Dec. 5 – Festival of Lights Reverse Parade Beautifully lit and fantastically festive, the Festival of Lights Reserve Parade starts at 5:30 pm and will end at 8 pm at the Ruidoso Convention Center. This year due to the global pandemic, we are thinking outside of the box and have decided to have a Reverse Parade. A Reverse Parade is where the floats and static displays are stationary and cars drive through the event. COVID Safe practices will be adhered to as the displays will be 18 feet apart and spectators will remain in their cars. The Theme for this event is “A Season of Unity in the Community”.
