Ruidoso Winter Park Tubing
The Annual Opening for Ruidoso’s “Premier Snow Play Area”!  Open from 10 am – 5 pm. You will be whisked to the top of the hill on moving conveyors.  There’s no need to walk uphill, which means MORE tubing and MORE FUN.  As Bert the Conqueror of the Travel Channel says: “This is the Holy Grail of Snow Tubing”

Grindstone Stables Opening Day!
Join us for a horse-drawn sleigh ride through historic Upper Canyon! With jingle bells ringing and the horses breath fogging in the air, everyone is sure to enjoy the crisp winter evenings while riding through the oldest part of Ruidoso. Check the website for nights the Sleigh Rides will be offered!

Christmas in the Park at Schoolhouse Park
Join the Village of Ruidoso in their annual lighting of the Yule Log. Free. Santa and cookies will be there, of course. 6 pm.

Business After Hours and Holiday Party
Kick-off the holiday season with Business After Hours at the Hurd-La Rinconada Gallery and Guest Homes, San Patricio, 5 to 7 pm.

Parade of Lights
Beautifully lit and fantastically festive, the Festival of Lights–Parade of Lights starts at 5:30 pm from the corner of Sudderth/Mechem, through Midtown, down to the Chamber of Commerce. The Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Toys for Tots. We are encouraging everyone to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the Parade of Lights. During the parade Toys for Tots will have a float and will be collecting toys. Marines will be walking along the float picking up the toys that are brought to the parade. This year lets all help make sure every child has a Christmas by bringing a toy to the parade to donate.
